Who are you?

The Shane Duncan Band is based out of Fort Lauderdale FL. The band is in the process of finishing the recording of the next 5 songs to complete the album due out in early January. They are very proud of the fact that they write, play the instrumentation and produce our own songs at this point. It is quite rewarding. The SDB plays more than 100 shows a year at this point and really takes pride in the live show. You can check out the current single and video Life’s Snooze Bar here at VTYO.

How did you get into making music?

All of the members of the band have played in other national touring bands and just wanted to put their musical minds together for this project and so far, so good. The band Is family and has a great bond which shows in the songs and live shows.

What’s the inspiration behind the song and music video?

Shane and Dave were in Las Vegas for the Nash Vegas Event at the American Country Music Awards and instead of going out on the town before radio interviews early the next day, the two of them decided to write a song instead. They were going thru song ideas that they keep in their phones and felt that Lifes Snooze Bar would be a cool idea to write around. Everyone at some point hits the snooze bar on an alarm clock to get a few extra minutes…. When life gets to be just a little bit overwhelming, wouldn’t everyone like to be able to put LIFE on snooze whether for a day, a week, or a year? Well that’s what the song is about.

What should fans look out for?

The SDB is very excited about the release of the next 5 songs and can’t wait to shoot the video for the next single, the title is a secret at this time but the song is all about the party..It is going to be quite a ride and the band cannot wait for everyone to hear it..

The band just hope to see the fan base at shows in Florida keep expanding and want to hear from our fans around the country so they can come to those states and put on a great show for them..
