Who are you?

We are a Country / Southern Rock Band out of Lansing, MI….With a nod to and respect for country and southern rock, the NC Flyers are proud of their Great Lakes heritage.

From Roots Rock to Contemporary Country, their album is one you will play every day, as you peel back the layers of each song.

Genre: Eagles meet Alabama Alt. Roots Rock Jam band.

How did you get into making music?

I have been touring since 1977…3,500 concerts later… here we are..

What’s the inspiration behind the song and music video?

Brian, our guitar player, song writer and producer often took his family up to Michigan’s upper peninsula to get away from it all. On one such trip, he was setting up camp, and his young grandson just couldn’t wait for pappy to take him fishing; so he told him to “get out of those clothes, and I’ll take you down to the lake” – what he meant was, change your clothes. Next thing he knew, the little guy was in his birthday suit, up to his buns in the Lilly Pads with Brian’s fishing pole…not a care in the world. Any worldly stress he was wearing slipped off his shoulders as he realized, metaphorically, that we all could use a little “Naked Time”.

Our very own North Country Flyers Songwriters/composers, Brian Cole and Mark Oliverius, have just been notified that their instrumental orchestration “Lover’s Charge” is being used for a film and tv placement. More details to follow.

Just did The ABC Channel 12 Morning show segway into Good Morning America

Also the Hallmark Movie Channel took one of our very own North Country Flyers song penned by Brian Cole with Megan Sloane Linville and Nashville producer Mark Oliverius…. for the November and December Movie… the Movie is called “Snow Bride” starring Patricia Richardson…. the song is called “Wrapped up in love… They played the movie 17 times last year…

Country music legend Lorrie Morgan cut a single of ours, “Wrapped Up In Love”… penned by our very own North Country Flyer, Brian Cole with Megan Sloane Linville and Nashville producer Mark Oliverius. Video will be on CMT and GAC. We are Honored..
